It is an honor and a thrill to introduce you to the founder and publisher of LeverageUp, Robin Roberson. My sister.

We are sharing the culmination of what today feels like- many jam-packed, exciting decades in Dallas. Five years ago, as Covid was arriving, it was bittersweet to watch her leave Dallas for a cabin life atop a Tennessee mountain, but in my gut and in my heart, I knew that there was something in wait.

For years Robin had seen and been a part of the many local networking groups, but she felt they just weren’t working for her or for many other women. A 30 second standup spiel wasn’t rich enough. Wasn’t inspiring.

Always a visionary and out of the box thinker, my sister realized that if you simply put women together, with or without any guidance or structure, they will start conversations. They will connect, and from those connections the magic begins. Communication increases, confidence builds, creativity booms, and thus a community of women flourishes.

So it was with femmes International. This organization imagined by Robin with fresh pathways for women, became a sisterhood comprised of talented entrepreneurs and highly motivated business owners, there to eagerly support others while also seeking for themselves.

Build it and they will come, as the saying goes, and femmes International grew and grew. It had the luxury of members being able to gather monthly in a wonderful centralized office building. On those early evenings, members socialized over appetizers and a wine bar before a speaker or a program presentation was then featured.

One highlighted the woman who was caught in crossfire at the downtown Dallas demonstration where five police officers were killed. Wheelchair bound at that time, she told the harrowing story of the cop who plopped on top of her to save her life.

We glimpsed into the world of abuse from several survivors’ tales, as well as from the director who ran a successful shelter. One member of femmes, a pilot, founded Families to Freedom, which transports abuse victims, including children, to a safe haven which often means to family members, even across state lines.

Robin took on causes as small and personal as making sure a mother with young children, who had moved on from the shelter and was on her way to a free life, had an old fashioned Christmas with a tree and gifts from Santa. She tackled major projects with equal ease. One, dear to me, was purchasing and arranging a sewing machine delivery to a woman in Kenya who was starting up and has now gone on to build, Days for Girls. This program has educated young boys and girls on the facts of life, giving the girls hand sewn products to allow them to attend school during their monthly menstrual cycles.

I am so proud of my sister. She is credited as a force for goodness and betterment, enticing individuals, small programs, and businesses to do more, to do better. I have learned so much from her, my eyes usually tuned into marketing strategies but also how to connect people. Robin is masterful at reading a field and knowing who would benefit from knowing whom. So much growth emanated from femmes, both personal and business.

Where femmes International was a local community, LeverageUp Movement, similar but different, boasts global intentions.

As stated, it is not just a magazine, but an interactive movement that is both in the moment and fluid. Through a variety of means and platforms, LeverageUp will connect women in a web designed to inspire, inform, support, and share.

I hope you will join. And like Robin proved, and I witnessed, when you connect women, good things happen. Really good things.

Robin Roberson

Robin Roberson is a marketer, publisher, and connector by both profession and practice. With a background rooted in brand strategy, media, and storytelling, she has spent years helping ideas find their voice—and the right audience to hear them.

LeverageUp grew from firsthand experience: building brands, launching initiatives, and watching what happens when people are given both visibility and support. Robin understands that growth doesn’t happen in isolation. When entrepreneurs are seen, heard, and strategically positioned, momentum follows—not just for one, but for many.

Her work sits at the intersection of strategy and story. She believes thoughtful marketing isn’t about noise; it’s about clarity. And meaningful publishing isn’t about volume; it’s about curation. LeverageUp reflects that philosophy—creating space for insight, leadership, and collaboration to rise together.

At its core, Robin’s approach is simple: when we support each other intentionally, we all grow stronger.

Joe Savard

Joe brings a strategic, systems-driven perspective to LeverageUp, grounded in technology, exposure strategy, and scalable growth. With deep experience guiding entrepreneurs through the complexities of visibility and brand positioning, Joe focuses on how ideas move—where they show up, who sees them, and why that matters.

He understands that great businesses don’t just need passion; they need pathways. Through structure, data, and thoughtful execution, Joe helps entrepreneurs translate their vision into meaningful exposure—aligning brand presence with purpose and long-term growth.

At LeverageUp, Joe’s role is about direction and amplification. Working alongside creators and founders, he helps identify the most effective ways to gain traction without losing authenticity—so growth feels intentional, not overwhelming.

Together with Robin, he helps ensure LeverageUp is not just a platform, but a strategic ecosystem designed to elevate voices with substance.

Together

LeverageUp is built on a shared belief: strategy and story are strongest when they work together.

Robin and Joe bring complementary strengths—publishing and positioning, insight and execution—creating a platform that supports entrepreneurs at every stage. The result is a magazine and movement that doesn’t just inspire, but equips.

Because when clarity meets collaboration, growth follows.
