The Vision
Building Something That Outlives Us
Every movement begins with one person who sees what others do not.
For years, I watched extraordinary people build businesses, write books, launch nonprofits, create innovations, and dedicate their lives to helping others. They possessed wisdom that could change lives.
Yet most of them had one thing in common.
No one knew their stories.
Not because their work lacked value—but because they lacked a platform powerful enough to amplify their voices.
I realized the problem wasn't a shortage of expertise.
It was a shortage of opportunity.
That realization became LeverageUp.
Every Movement Begins with One Voice
Every meaningful movement begins long before the world notices.
It begins with a question that refuses to go away.
For me, that question was simple.
Why do so many extraordinary people with extraordinary ideas never find the audience they deserve?
For years I watched entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, authors, healthcare professionals, educators, and changemakers dedicate their lives to serving others. They possessed remarkable knowledge, inspiring stories, and life-changing solutions.
Yet too often, they remained invisible.
Not because they lacked talent.
Not because they lacked passion.
They simply lacked a platform powerful enough to amplify their voices.
I realized the world did not suffer from a shortage of great ideas.
It suffered from a shortage of meaningful connections between those ideas and the people who needed them most.
That realization became the seed of LeverageUp.
Not as a magazine.
Not as a publishing company.
But as a movement built on one simple belief:
Every person has a story worth telling, and every story has the power to change a life.
The Story Behind the Vision
People often ask me why I started LeverageUp.
The answer didn't begin with publishing.
It began with people.
Throughout my life, I have been a connector. I have always believed that when the right people meet, extraordinary things happen. An introduction becomes a partnership. A conversation becomes a business. An idea becomes a nonprofit. A story becomes someone's reason to keep going.
Over the years, I watched brilliant entrepreneurs struggle to be seen. Authors poured their hearts into books that few people discovered. Nonprofit leaders worked tirelessly with little recognition. Experts carried decades of knowledge that never reached the people searching for exactly what they had to offer.
I kept asking myself the same question.
Who is helping the people who are helping everyone else?
That question would not leave me alone.
Little by little, the vision grew.
I no longer imagined a magazine.
I imagined a place where people could be discovered.
A place where expertise could be shared.
A place where businesses could grow, nonprofits could thrive, authors could find readers, and ordinary people could become extraordinary because someone believed in them.
That dream became LeverageUp.
Then life interrupted.
In 2026, I suffered a stroke.
For a while, everything stopped.
There were days when simply finding the right words was difficult. The future I had imagined suddenly seemed uncertain. Friends questioned whether I should slow down. Some wondered if perhaps this dream had become too ambitious.
But they misunderstood something.
The stroke changed my pace.
It never changed my purpose.
Today I am seventy-six years old.
Many people my age are enjoying retirement, looking back on careers completed and dreams fulfilled.
I find myself looking forward instead.
Because I don't believe purpose has an expiration date.
I believe every year we are given adds wisdom, perspective, and experience that can be used to lift someone else.
LeverageUp is not my retirement project.
It is my legacy.
I am not building this because I need another business.
I am building it because I believe there are still millions of voices waiting to be heard...millions of people searching for encouragement...and countless organizations doing extraordinary work that deserve a larger stage.
If my life has taught me anything, it is this:
Success is never measured by what we accumulate.
It is measured by the lives we help change.
That is why I continue to build.
That is why I continue to dream.
That is why LeverageUp exists.
Imagine What's Possible
Imagine a world where expertise is no longer hidden.
Where an entrepreneur in a small town has access to the same inspiration and guidance as someone in a major city.
Where a physician's breakthrough reaches thousands instead of dozens.
Where a nonprofit finds the supporters it has prayed for because someone finally heard its story.
Where an author writes the one chapter that gives another person the courage to keep living.
Where kindness becomes contagious because people begin sharing hope instead of fear.
That is the future I see.
LeverageUp was never intended to become a collection of digital magazines.
The magazines are simply the doorway.
The real vision is far greater.
I see a growing media network where entrepreneurs learn from one another, healthcare professionals educate communities, nonprofit organizations discover new partners, authors find readers around the world, and leaders share not only their successes, but also the lessons they learned through failure.
I see podcasts that inspire.
Videos that educate.
Communities that encourage.
Mentors connecting with those searching for direction.
People discovering that collaboration creates opportunities competition never could.
Most of all, I see people who once believed their voices didn't matter discovering that someone has been waiting to hear exactly what they have to say.
That is the future we are building.

Building Something Bigger Than Ourselves
Every meaningful movement reaches a point where passion alone is no longer enough.
Vision can start a journey.
But partnership is what allows it to grow.
Today, LeverageUp stands at that moment.
The foundation has been built.
The publications are being created.
The platform is taking shape.
The vision has been proven.
Now comes the opportunity to build something that will continue serving people for years—even decades—to come.
This is no longer about publishing magazines.
It is about building an ecosystem that connects people, ideas, resources, and opportunities in ways that create lasting impact.
An ecosystem where every success story encourages another.
Where every expert becomes a mentor.
Where every reader has the opportunity to become a contributor.
Where businesses grow while helping communities flourish.
That kind of vision cannot be built alone.
Every great movement has been strengthened by people who recognized its potential before the rest of the world did.
People willing to invest not only in an idea, but in the lives that idea will ultimately touch.

An Invitation to Build Together
If you're reading this, you have already become part of this story.
Not because you've made a commitment.
But because you've taken the time to understand the vision.
For that, I am grateful.
I am not asking you to fund another magazine.

I am inviting you to help build something far more significant.
A platform that elevates voices.
A network that creates meaningful connections.
A place where entrepreneurs, educators, healthcare professionals, nonprofit leaders, authors, and innovators find opportunities they might never have discovered on their own.
The return on this investment cannot be measured only in dollars.
It will be measured in businesses launched.
Books discovered.
Lives encouraged.
Communities strengthened.
Dreams realized.
Legacies created.
Some investments build companies.
Others build people.
I believe the greatest investments accomplish both.

This Is Only the Beginning
When history remembers the organizations that changed lives, it rarely begins with the buildings they constructed or the technology they created.
It begins with someone who saw a possibility others could not yet see.
Someone willing to take the first step.
Someone courageous enough to believe that ordinary people, working together with extraordinary purpose, really can change the world.
I believe that person is never meant to walk alone.
Every movement needs believers.
Builders.
Partners.
People willing to stand beside a vision before it becomes obvious.
LeverageUp is still in its beginning chapters.
But I believe its greatest pages have not yet been written.
Perhaps they will be written because you chose to become part of the story.
Together, we can build more than a media company.
We can build a legacy.
One voice.
One story.
One connection.
One life at a time.
Building Something That Outlives Us
Every generation is given an opportunity to leave something behind.
Some leave buildings.
Some leave businesses.
Some leave wealth.
But the greatest legacies are measured by something far more meaningful.
They are measured by the people whose lives are forever different because someone cared enough to build something that mattered.
That is my hope for LeverageUp.
I hope it becomes a place where dreams find direction.
Where ideas find opportunity.
Where businesses find momentum.
Where nonprofits find partners.
Where authors find readers.
Where leaders find one another.
Where a young entrepreneur discovers the mentor who changes her future.
Where a struggling family finds hope through someone else's story.
Where kindness spreads farther than fear.
Where wisdom is never lost because it has been shared with the next generation.
If that happens...
Then LeverageUp will have become far more than a media company.
It will have become a legacy.
One that continues to encourage, educate, connect, and inspire long after I am gone.
At seventy-six years old, I understand something I may not have fully appreciated when I was younger.
Life is not measured by the number of years we are given.
It is measured by what we choose to do with them.
Every day is another opportunity to leave the world a little better than we found it.
That is why I continue to dream.
That is why I continue to build.
That is why I believe this vision matters.
Perhaps that's why you're reading these words today.
Not simply to learn about LeverageUp...
But to consider what might be possible if people who believe in purpose choose to build something together.
Because the greatest movements have never been built by one person.
They have always been built by people who shared a common vision and believed that together they could accomplish far more than any of them could alone.
So I leave you with one final thought.
I'm not asking you to read about a vision.
I'm inviting you to help write its next chapter.
Together, we have an opportunity to create something that will continue serving others for generations to come.
To build more than a publication.
More than a business.
More than a platform.
To build something that outlives us.
